When and where is the Summer Business Academy 2026 held?
The in-person part of the program takes place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from 28 June to 4 July 2026.
What is blended learning?
The SBA 2026 is delivered through a blended learning model combining:
Online sessions: 2 to 4 sessions per workshop (4 to 8 hours total).
In-person session: 6 to 8 hours in Dubrovnik per workshop.
Independent study: 20 to 44 hours of individual work and assessment per workshop.
Academic flexibility
Do I have to stick to one specific module?
No. Participants can combine workshops from different modules based on their personal or professional interests.
What topics are covered in the workshops?
The workshops are grouped into four main modules:

How much work is required?
The program offers a customizable workload, ranging from 90 to 180 hours in total. Participants can select workshops offered in 30-hour or 60-hour formats.
Credits & certificates
How can I prove that I have completed the program at my home university?
Every participant receives a Certificate of Completion and Assessment. This document lists the workshops completed and the total workload for each, to facilitate credit transfer.
Is credit transfer guaranteed?
No. While detailed documentation is provided, the final decision on credit recognition rests with your home institution.
Will I receive ECTS credits?
Participants receive documentation confirming the workshops completed and the total workload for each. However, the awarding of ECTS is decided by the home institution.
Costs & accommodation
What is the tuition for the programme?
Tuition fees depend on the selected workload and on whether you require accommodation. Details are available in the brochure.
Is there a discount for early registration?
Yes, an Early Bird discount of EUR 200 is available until 15 May 2026.
What does the tuition include?
In addition to the academic program and study materials, the fee includes:
shared dormitory accommodation with breakfast (if selected),
daily lunch from 29 June to 3 July,
a city tour, boat excursion, and gala dinner,
refreshments during breaks,
and social events such as the quiz and international night.
Can I request a single room?
Yes, a single room in the dormitory is available for an additional EUR 40 per day.
