The SBA 2026 runs from June 10 to July 10, 2026 and is delivered in a hybrid format that maximizes academic depth and flexibility:
Phase 1 (Online): Pre-reading, structured independent work, and digital learning components.
Phase 2 (On-site): A dedicated week in Dubrovnik, Croatia from 28 June to 4 July, focused on intensive workshops and networking.
Phase 3 (Online): Independent work and take-home assignment.
Participants can create a learning path that matches their interests and goals. The total workload ranges between 90 and 180 hours, depending on the workshops selected.
30-hour workshops: Focused, specialist intensives.
60-hour workshops: More comprehensive, deep-dive sessions.
Example: Selecting three 30-hour workshops meets the minimum 90-hour requirement.
Each course is designed to be high-impact, maintaining strong academic standards.
Teaching methods: Courses combine lectures, seminars, guest speaker sessions, and collaborative study groups.
Independent study: Participants are expected to engage in independent reading, research and preparation throughout the program.
Certificate of Attendance: At the end of the in-person component in Dubrovnik participants receive Certificate of Attendance.
Certificate of Completion and Assessment: Each workshop ends with an exam, followed by a take-home assignment. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion and Assessment indicating the total workload and the workshops completed.
Official transcript for ECTS/credits: Participants who wish to obtain ECTS/credits should submit Certificate of Completion and Assessment at their home institution.
